Stop Errors
A stop error occurs when Windows stops responding. The error messages appear on a blue or black background, and is also known as the "Blue Screen of Death" (BSOD). Stop error messages can be caused by hardware or software malfunctions, corrupt files, faulty RAM, incompatible drivers, etc. Each stop error has a unique identifier code, given in hexadecimal.
